IMMOLATION To Release Debut DVD Soon ! Long-running New York death metallers IMMOLATION will release their debut DVD, "Bringing Down The World", on January 27, 2004 through Listenable. An American release date is still pending. Harnessing Ruin, Immolation's newest album will be out in April 2005 on Olympic records. Watch for them in an upcoming issue of Metal Maniacs Magazine!
Described as a "very fan-orientated product", "Bringing Down The World" (view DVD cover above) contains footage from several shows in support of the group's successful 2002 album, "Unholy Cult", including the following: * A concert at Amsterdam's Rock Heineken Music Hall in front of 3,000 people, filmed with 7 cameras * Plus three other bonus shows, whose quality is described as being more in the "high-quality-sounding bootleg range": - A "raging" gig in Paris where the audience goes totally berserk - Several songs from a show at the 013 in Tilburg, Holland - and a recent gig filmed in Los Angeles at the Whisky A Go Go. Immolation will be touring with Deicide this spring. See the tour dates HERE.

This Website is now under deconstruction and reconstruction. July 2005. A Message from the webmistress: After many months of doing nothing with this website, I have finally decided to do an update, and let any who come here know that I will be slowly but surely changing the format and focus of this website. This website has always only really been a reflection of the person I am, mainly about me and my interests. It was meant to let people know about me, not be some kind of webzine or anything. It was meant to be somewhat educational, so that if any of my interests interested others, I provided many links for others to further their information gathering on those subjects. I know it says "The Metalgodess, Metal Music and More" above, and I have decided to expand on "The More" and decrease on "The Metal." There are many reasons for this, one being the many webzines that cover metal news better and more frequently than I can. But most of all because I have always been about way more things than metal music, and as I get older, I find "the Other" stuff has become more important to me. I will still cover a handful of bands that I am close with. I will still post Tour dates. And I will still provide links to most of the pages of interviews and festival reviews, exclusive live photos and the like that are already here, keeping them archived indefinitely. The best way to get to these pages is through the SITE MAP. All the links are there and for now that page will not change much. I removed all the band links that used to be on this page. I do have a links page, anyone who would like to link to this page can go there and add their own link. Below you will find some news on Bands that are friends of mine, but that is all the metal news you'll find on this site for now. I hope that you'll use the site map and explore around, because there is a wealth of information here, and a lot of fun and wacky things to see and do. Thanks for visiting my website, and please visit again. You'll never know what you will find here. -AnneMarie Bowman

Vader will enter Hertz Studio, Bia?ystok at the beginning of July to record a brand new MCD under a working title "The Art Of War". The MCD will contain only new songs! The release will feature 3 extremely intense and fast cuts and one song in a vein of band's typical style. "The Art Of War" will also contain a special bonus video clip for the title track. It's going to be something really new, unconventional and powerful, expect the unexpected. Stay tuned for more details. VADER have inked a deal with Sweden's Regain Records.
